The Framsden Petanque team is now playing again in the Suffolk Summer Petanque League, currently 3 wins, 1 draw, and one close loss, were always looking for new players, so why not come down to the Framsden Greyhound on a Thursday at 6pm and give it a try.

Framsden church is currently flying the St George flag, this will be changed to the Union Jack flag for the 2026 Remembrance services.

FRAMSDEN WAR MEMORIAL –

The restored war memorial was unveiled after a rededication service. Alison Sellen has researched the 19 soldiers who died in the first world war and three who died in the second. Her research was displayed in the Village Hall but is now available online at www.achurchnearyou.com/framsden (Pages and Links section), along with “before and after” pictures and a newspaper article about the original unveiling in 1921.
