There are currently just three main events left this year, have a look opposite for details.

The Framsden petanque team managed a magnificent second place this year in the Suffolk Coastal Petanque league, so plenty to aim for next year, were always looking for new players, so why not come down to the Framsden Greyhound on a Thursday night and give it a try, we will start again in early spring 2026.

Framsden church is currently flying the St George flag, this will be changed shortly to the Union Jack flag for the 2025 Remembrance services.

The Framsden church now has a refurbished flag pole, the Union Jack flag is now flying for the 80th year celebration of VE day. Have a look at the pictures here

The village hall is open, all events and clubs are running.

Please note that St Mary's Church is open and there are two services per month, please see the Churches tab for who to contact if you need help..

FRAMSDEN WAR MEMORIAL –

The restored war memorial was unveiled after a rededication service. Alison Sellen has researched the 19 soldiers who died in the first world war and three who died in the second. Her research was displayed in the Village Hall but is now available online at www.achurchnearyou.com/framsden (Pages and Links section), along with “before and after” pictures and a newspaper article about the original unveiling in 1921.
